How Losing My Mom is Inspiring Growth in My Business
The last few months have been some of the hardest of my life. After hearing the words no child is ever ready for—"there’s nothing more we can do"—I began the bittersweet journey of saying goodbye to my mom.
For eight days, my siblings and I sat by her bedside, holding her hand, laughing at memories, and cherishing every moment. Those days were filled with heartbreak but also immense gratitude—gratitude for the time, the space, and the ability to just be there.
Owning my own business is what made that possible. It’s what allowed me to set my work aside and focus on what truly mattered most: my family. That freedom was a gift I will never take for granted.
Turning Pain Into Purpose
While grief has a way of slowing you down, it also opens the door to reflection. Losing my mom has reminded me how precious time is and how important it is to align our lives and work with what truly fills our souls.
Her passing has also lit a fire in me—a deep desire to live even more boldly, more abundantly, and to create the kind of impact I know I’m capable of. My mom always believed in me, and I want to honor her by showing up fully in my life and business.
